Mojo Cubano Sauce
Best eaten the same day but can be stored in the fridge in a sealed bottle
- 100ml olive oil
- 150ml sour orange or lime juice (or half of each)
- 7 garlic cloves, crushed (add more to your taste)
- sliced onion
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil over a medium heat
- Add garlic and cook to release flavour (30 secs)
- Put all other ingredients in a bowl
- Add oil and let all infuse for 1/2 to 1 hour
- When cool remove onion before transferring to serving jug
