There are many flight options available when travelling to Cuba, subject to where you are flying from and which area of Cuba you are visiting.

The section below describes the different ways of arriving in Cuba via the main aiports in the country.

Antonio Maceo (SCU)
Situated to the south of Santiago de Cuba, right by the Caribbean coastline is the Antonio Maceo airport. Most flights are domestic but there are also a limited number of indirect international flights arriving each week from Argentina, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, France, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama Russia and the United Kingdom. Italy is the only country to have direct flights to SCU apart from Cuba.

Cuba

Cayo Coco (CCC)
The Cayo Coco airport on the Jardines del Rey archipelago serves people travelling to the resorts of Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo receiving direct flights from Canada, the United Kingdom and within Cuba.
Indirect flights to Cayo Coco come from across Europe and Latin America and as far away as China, Hong Kong, India, Japan and South Korea.

Cuba

Frank País International (HOG)
Holguin's international airport, just 13km south of the city is one of the newest international airports in Cuba. Direct flights are recieved from Canada, Germany and Cuba. Indirect flights are received from Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Italy, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Jose Marti International (HAV)
Havana's airport is the most important airport in Cuba for both international and domestic flights. The airport was named after Cuban poet and patriot, Jose Marti and is located 25 km southwest of Cuba's capital city. Inauguration took place in February 1930 although the first flight was not until the end of October that year going to Santiago de Cuba.
The airport has direct flights to and from Argentina, the Bahamas, Canada, Cape Verde, the Cayman Islands, Colombia, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Martinique, Mexico, Panama, Russia, Spain, the United Kingdom, Venezuela and Cuba.
Indirect flights are received from across the globe with people travelling to Cuba.

Cuba

Ignacio Agramonte International (CMW)
Situated 8km to the northeast of Camaguey is Ignacio Agramonte International airport which recieves direct flights from Cuba and also Canada.
The airport also receives flights, although non direct, from Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica,France, Guatemala, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Russia and Spain. Cubana is the main airline currently flying in and out of CMW.

Juan Gualberto Gomez International (VRA)
Varadero's international airport is the second busiest in the country, bringing visitors from around the world to Cuba's most important tourist resort area.
Direct flights are received from Canada, the Dominican Republic, Germany, Mexico and Russia. Indirect flights are received from Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Despite being such a busy airport, VRA is surprisingly small, offering few shops and very little choice of eateries.

Vilo Acuña International (CYO)
Vilo Acuña International airport is a modern gateway to Cuba, situated in Cayo Largo, receiving direct flights from Italy and Canada.
The aiport also receives flights from Belgium, the Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Spain, Switzerland, Tanzania, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
